Merry Christmas, everyone! I hope you're all having as good a day as I am! ^__^ The presents are opened, the turkey's in the oven, and I got an excellent pair of glasses that are in fact a straw.

So I've made my mince pies, you guys! Well, I say mince pies. I used too much pastry on the lids, so they're more like mince squares. But whatever. They taste glorious!! I had to use extra butter to get the mixture to stick, so they're all rich and crumbly. Not actually like any mince pie I've ever seen, but I think mine are better.

You guys, it's snowing. While that sounds like it would be a good thing, I would like to point out that I live in a cul-de-sac in a pretty hilly area. So no one ever grits our road, and we get snowed in for ages. (Ten days last year, that was a laugh and a half).
